New front driveshaft

Hey everybody, I bought this new front drive shaft from talons custom driveshafts to replace my old one. I am having problems installing the new driveshaft. It seems like it is too long. So, if anybody could help that would be great.

Sounds like it's to long, did you have to measure for the company before they made the driveshaft or did they just send you one according to your year of Jeep?

Should I press the driveshaft together?

It has a couple inches of room where the grease goes so i don't know if that can get pressed together more or not

It should be able to compress in and out so as the angle of your suspension changes as you drive or off-road the driveshaft will lengthen or shorten. So yes just push it together and get it bolted in.

I would call the company that you bought it from and see what they think. Something's not right.

Yup it was too long, 2 inches too long so I'm sending it back :/. It's been snowing here in Indiana a lot recently so I was going to finally put it back on but nope.

Sry to hear that, but at least you know what the problem is and I would say the company should replace it for free. Good luck.
