It is much easier to give totally bad advice to a guy unwilling to take good advice isn't it.

Brett,

Doc is right; this job is quite the undertaking.. if you are a highly skilled mechanic, "Let her Buck," but otherwise, I would leave this one to the pros..

Make sure you only do that on the front. It gives better traction. Flip that switch and burn rubber.[/QUOTE]

I would just put a locker in the front or rear not both to start out with.
Just an opinion though!!!

What type of off-roading do you do?
Maybe some pictures of your rig and the types of trails your are on, on a regular bases, would help us to make some recomendations for your rig.

We are all here to have fun and gain some knowledge, the more info the better. Dont forget each thread is helping to educate others with similiar questions. OR similar amounts of experience.

Just my 2 cents!

I would say dont bother with the locker! Not in those kinds of situations.

Put the money in other upgrades, like bed liner to clean the mud out or a good winch to pull you out. A winch can be much more use-full at times than a locker. I would get many other things done prier to getting it locked. This is all my preferances though.
