Talking New guy here!!!

Ok folks i am a proud owner of a 1997 dodge 3/4 ton v10.. and 8mpg is killing me!!! So i have found a 2006 TJ unlimited that i am in the process of purchasing. Wondering if yall have any complaints, stories, pictures..etc. Also i will be looking to add a lift kit and after market tires.. so if any of you have pics of one with anything between a 2-5in lift and would like to share that would be great!

Welcome to the forum Tex, I have the 06 Ulimited 4.0 I6 and love it. Only problems so far have been a battle with DW, (turned out to be my tires), leaking rear axle seals and I let a little corrosion kill my battery.
You will get better then 8mpg, but don't expect 20.

You can do 15mpg if you keep the mods to a minimum. I get 15/18(city/hwy) running 33" tires and the factory 3.73 gears. The gearing is to high though and will drop mpg when its corrected.
Just getting to work is an adventure.
