So, you have a 98 TJ and a new 02 hard top but don't have switches or wiring for the wiper, right?

If so, you can buy a harness and switches and wire it up.

My jeep is a '02 and I ordered it with the hard top option.

The wiper is a single speed rocker switch, you hold it down a little more for the washer.

You can see the wiper/defroster plug and washer hose, there's a plug for the hose when the top is off and a velcro strap to keep everything from flapping in the breeze.
