New Headlights and HID's for 75$

Hey guys I just wanted to share some pics of the new headlights and HIDs that I got off EvilBay for 75$. I hope it's ok saying the price if not mods please edit out pricing, thanks. Anyway I got two replacement clear glass lamps and a real HID kit and am super pleased for the price. I went with the 6000kv HIDs which are slightly blue and can see tons better than I could with the standard type halogens. Anyways here are some pics but for some reason it's only letting me post one at a time so here goes.

Looks good, 90 percent is down where it should be. If I pull up behind someone they get a little blue in there back window but no one has flashed me and like I say the bulk of the light is right where it should be.. At 250 ft or so in front of me with some off to the sides only as you get closer and reflective signs will pop from quite a distance.

Can you either post a link to each or list the part numbers? I just changed the bulbs on mine but it's the stock halogen. Would love to have more light.

Thanks.

Fellas...

www.vvme.com

I've purchased numerous sets of H.I.D.'s and replacement parts from these people.
I've never seen better prices and they're top quality!

Enjoy!

H.I.D.s on my TJ = WOW! - JeepForum.com

I've been the HID route and gave them up for TruckLites. ZAnd yopu will get plenty debate but at a MINIMUM you need to have E-Code lenses which will help control blinding glare. DOT lenses above will do nothing but allow a ton of glare.

When did you go TruckLites? I saw your posts about the HID's and am still thinking about them ('cause I can't afford the Trucks), but I cheaped out before with the ebay ones like posted above and had nothing but problems with the ballasts.

Any issues with the HID's or just wanted to change?

I snagged some HIDs from eBay for 95$. Haven't had any issues with blinding other drivers (knock on wood). But they are SUPER BRIGHT 10,000K with a led dark tinted "halo ring". They also came with halogens already in them so you can choose if you want to stick to halogen or go HID which I thought was nice to have.

I haven't run in to Any ballast issues. But if worst comes to worst I would buy another ballast set (higher quality). Even if you have to do that you'll still be atleast saving 150ish-200 from getting trucklites. So for me that's a no brainer.

For me tht have held up great. No complaints. I may just upgrade the ballasts just for the long run.

I guarantee you forward facing RED is 100% illegal in every state. You can google you state DMV regulations. (Forward facing must be white or yellow)
