I picked up the steel wheel in one hand and the aluminum in the other and the weight difference was significant. The steels where 15x10 and the Alloy are 15x8. I feel a better ride and I swear the jeep drives straighter ...not that it was bad but I just feel some added control if that makes sense.
Nice!! I ordered the exact same wheels on my red LJ! They are coming in next week! They look so good! Is there an advantage of going from a steel wheel to an alloy wheel?
You'll like them. They look even better in person. They are much lighter than steel and that adds up over all 4 wheels. They are great value for their price. I had asked around this forum before I bought them and people said they hold up well. They are solid and seem well built. I'm very happy with them!
Joe, Looks awesome. I am close to pulling the trigger on these rims as well. Those 33 x12.5 tires? I assume you didn't have to adjust the steering stops?
Do you think you can post a straight-on pic that shows how far out the tires are from the flairs?
