The pics were taken just out side of a little town named Weld, Maine. The two with the Jeep at the overlook were taken 1/4 mile from where i grew up in Mt.Blue State Park.
As for the winters here, i honestly have to say I love the winter's. Nothing like cruising the back roads at 30-35 mph in a snow storm. i guess when you grow up doing it, you kinda learn to enjoy it. Not much traffic and you can just plug along going as fast as you feel safe and the roads are empty for the most part.
Here are some more from the first weekend of Jeep ownership
These were taken in Grafton Notch State Park.
Screw Auger Falls:
Mother Walker Falls. Looks like a cliff face...but if you climb down there is a water fall coming down a good sized chimney in the cliff. Fiance had the camera and for some reason didn't get a pic tho....

"The Jeep is a manly device. And a womanly device. An American device. It’s a fitting instrument to transport the free people of a free nation with the respect to which we are entitled and the dignity that we deserve. Okay, we’re a little crazy to have a Jeep for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius"-P.J.O'rourke
