new jeepster...

Hello - I just purchased my first jeep - 05 wrangler x 4.0L 6 speed - hoping to learn and be a good contributing member of this community -

The jeep already has larger than stock tires and a 4 inch lift - audio is a big deal for me (not obnoxious loud - nor all that bass - I just clarity and be able to here it on the freeway with the top down) so I have already decided to upgrade the stock head unit and speaker (in dash and sound bar) -I am going to get the plates to convert the dash speakers to the 5.25 speaker - not sure at this time what speaker size is in the sound bar but will replace those as well

I know that I want different front / rear bumpers and get some sort of bimi top for the summer (dont wanna burn my head) but was wondering what yall suggest as upgrades as well - and if I should do some sooner than others

Thanks for the input!

Tops are 51/4 but 61/2 fits : ) also look into a box for the rear that takes two 10's make sure the subs are facing down. Mine sounds real good with the top off.

welcome.
as far as for replacing you speakers, sound bar fits a 5 1/4 speaker and so i would suggest replacing your dash and sound bar with this speaker

Amazon.com: Rockford Fosgate Prime R152 5.25-Inch Full Range Coaxial Speakers: Electronics

for the price, you would be hard pressed to find anything that comes close to its quality
