New Lift ='s Vibrations

2" BDS Spring lift and BINGO.....some wiggle and some vibrations. We dropped the T-Case about a 1/4" and I don't think I am getting any vibrations from the drive shaft. Seems to be either the alignment or tire balance issues.

Under 50 mph....does not seem to have any issues. But from 50 to 60 mph, gets a little squirely. Wants to track a little back and forth, the steering wheel wiggles back and forth a bit, and then smooths out over 60.

Never had noticed before the lift....not sure if a lift would make a wheel balance issue more noticeable. Have not had it aligned yet either.

So, gonna get it aligned and balanced tomorrow.

do the alignment yourself to save the money. did you by chance undo the front lower track bar bolt when you did your lift? not tightening it down right can cause the axle to wobble. you'd feel it in the steering wheel.

That is a thought. I probably should at least try it, right? If I still have the problem then I can have a shop do it.

My friend's shop did the installation. He is very meticulous, but you never know. I can take a wrench to it and check it myself.

I will check the toe-in tomorrow with a tape measure.

Thanks!
