New LJ, what do y'all think?

I've always wanted an LJ and I was just perusing craigslist and fell in love with this one. I'm thinking it's a little pricey, but what do y'all think http://austin.craigslist.org/cto/4281848738.html

Seems a little high to me. But that is my opinion. I paid $16,000 for my 06 and it had 73,000 miles and moderate modifications. No lift but aftermarket bumpers, fender flares, hardtop.

Mileage is a little high in my opinion but I agree with Chilly03 and offer $11,000. Cash in hand can make him go for it.

well just for reference im in southern california and i paid $18000 for my 2006 LJ in 2010 with 38k miles on it. It was completely stock and had an auto transmission. Also, that was from Carmax not a private seller.

Pretty sexy, really like the color. Go on KBB.com or NADA, pulg in the info and see what it gives you.. Good luck and post your pics if/when you get it.

OBO, so you know you don't have to pay asking price. What's an LJ worth to you? One day TJU's will be as hard to find as Bigfoot?

Seems like a good deal to me... I paid well over that for my '05 LJ Rubi, stock, with 33k miles on it.

Same color as mine so I think it looks awesome. Price varies with region but I can tell you in TN you would be very lucky to get it at that price. I had to drive nearly 500 miles to get a deal. I would def. start at 11 but would easily be willing to go up. Really it all boils down to what it's worth to you and you being happy with your purchase.

Judging by your post and your username, I'd guess we have the same Jeep [color].

It's a nice looking truck but nothing about it is exceptional. It has moderate miles, an entry level lift, entry level sound system, and a dubious CAI. I would pass on the truck even for 11 grand.

Yeah I've owned 2 TJs and a built JKU and this is my favorite. I won't be letting this one go.

FWIW, at the end of February I'm planning on selling my lj in florida for 14k. 92,000 miles on it, 6 speed, hard top, 3.25 lift, and 35's and I'm pretty confident it'll sell quick.
