New MAP, crack in it

I know this is just in the bolt location and there is metal in there so the plastic isn't REALLY needed, but I'm considering taking this back, for $80, should it really be cracked? and how does this show how they have taken care of it.

So, take it back, or install it? It has a 2 year warranty either way.

Take it back. You buy something new it better be in new, not broken condition. With enough time and vibration that crack could creep further.

You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!
