New Member here, some pics of my jeep

I picked up my first jeep last month and hit the ground running.

Bought a stock 1997 4.0 Manual with 113k for $4500

Stock (minus the fender flares)

Gutted the interior and rhino lined the carpet area

Got a Pro Comp 4" suspension lift with MX6 Shocks and new Dick Cepek DC-2's with 33x12.5x15 Pro Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains

Next up is new seats, and center console. Then I have to stop the bleeding for a while.

Anyways, new guy, checking in...

Congrats! That is a great looking Jeep! How much did the Rhino lining run you?

Thanks, local place did it for $450. Much nicer and quieter than the factory carpet.

That is an excellent price. Rhino lining is on my VERY long list of things I want to do to my Jeep. However, it is toward the bottom seeing as my Jeep is a 2010 and I can't yet justify to the wife me ripping out the carpet!

Hey sj, did you know that a clean, spotless, uncluttered shop is the sign of a sick mind.

Oh crap, I just described myself.

congrats! Good deal as well. The market around here has gotten insane. Hard to even find a four banger for less than $5k. High miles 6 cyl are in the 8k range right now and thats for a older sport or x.

lol, yeah it was. I spent a couple days cleaning it up after I did the lift. Between my camaro and the jeep, i have had a ongoing project in there for over a year.

Nice to have all my tools out of rolling carts and back in toolboxes where they belong. I can actually find things now!

Nice rig, and welcome to the addiction. I'm glad to see the DC2's on a Jeep. I just bought some, but they haven't arrived yet. They look pretty badass.

That's looking really good! Quite a difference from when you got it. I think Rhino lining is going to be one of the next 3 things I do to the Jeep as well... That just looks good.

I havent had a chance to take it out yet. The reviews on the Pro-Comp Xtreme Mud Terrains is that they are great in mud, but unlike most mud tires, very quiet and good in rain/snow.

So far, I can confirm they are super quiet (for a mud tire) and great in the rain.

Did you get 8" or 10"? I was at 4 wheel parts yesterday getting an alignment and I saw a guy with my exact same tire/wheel setup only he had the 8" wheels.

Didnt look nearly as good without the deep offset. I highly recommend the 10" wide version if you didnt get them.

me and my brother rent that one for $500 a month, including power and water. Way more space than we need, 3 bay doors and 1 lift.

My brother owns a wrecker company so he uses it mostly for impounds but it is great for working on our projects.

I wish I could help it. When I pick up the jeep from getting an alignment at 4 wheel parts today, I am putting in an order for the Smittybilt XRC seats, Rugged Ridge Rear Seat and Smittybily Nerf Bar.

I just need to decide if I want to go with all black seats or grey to match the interior trim. I'm thinking grey will be better in the sun? Anyone have any input on which way I should go?

In only a month I have spent more on upgrades than I did the Jeep
