New member looking for a TJ Jeep

Hey everyone this is my first post and Im happy to be here. Reason why I registered cause you guys seem very knowledgeable and I really want a TJ Wrangler. Live here in Colorado so I hope to meet some forum members from that state. Don't have a Jeep now but I been saving money for one. Hopefully I have you guys to help me out when I make my purchase. Anyone from Colorado knows a good deal for a Jeep please reply back.

i just bought a 05 and love it. It is the first year they came with a 6 speed trans. I belive this is for 05 and 06 only for tj's. If you off road go for the 4.0 not the 4 cyl.

Check out Craigslist. What are you looking for in a Jeep? What will it be used for? Daily driver? 4 or 6 cylinder, auto or stick? Amount you want to spend?

Definitely check craigslist; there are all kinds of great deals on there. Price is going to depend on what year you're looking at also. Maybe look to spend between 6 and 10 on a solid, fairly late model (2002 to 2006 maybe) jeep. Also, jeep uses an inline 6
Find some jeeps online and post the links here and you'll get all kinds of input from the members!!

Checked Craigs list before and allot of people always sell above the blue book value. It might take awhile when I get the Jeep but I will keep the forum posted when it happens.

WOW thank you Ratrod I never came across a good deal for a 2001 TJ Wrangler. My dad is interested in the ad and he tells me if it's in good condition buy it. But what do you guys think I have the money to buy it but do you think the mileage is too high? It's above 166 thousands miles but the owner says he rebuilt the engine 16k ago.

The ad doesn't tell if it's automatic or stick
