It's not the joints that are the problem. It's the stock shafts with those joints in them. It's almost a waste of money to put a good ujoint in a stock shaft. The ears of the stock shafts just aren't very strong. Typically when you break a front shaft it's because the ears have stretched on the shafts allowing the joint caps to spin and pop out.
They are a good joint, but I'd wait until you have some chromo's to put them in. The stock joints have done well up until now. Just keep running them. Alloy USA front sets aren't that bad price wise anymore.
