New rear spring hangers

Howdy all, I have a few questions.
My rear spring hangers are badly rusted so I'm going to cut and grind them off and put on some new ones. The upper ones attached to the frame and top of rear springs.

My questions are this:
Since I'm doing this anyway, should I?
1) Move the hangers a few inches forward so the springs go more straight up and down?

2) I have a "poor mans" 2.5 suspension lift on the jeep now. Should I go ahead and replace the cheap lift with a 3" spring lift kit. I already replaced the shocks with ones made for 2-4" lift so they are good to go. I realize there are a few other components involved but I'm just looking for good advice at this point.

The jeep itself is a 1997 sahara 4.0 and runs well.
No vibrations, drives perfectly straight at 0-75mph no wobble or stearing problems. Tires are 31"x10.5" General grabbers, the red label ones.

What do you all think??
