New shocks?

I run cheep Full Traction Hydro-shocks on my Jeep. I have a short arm (lots of parts from different manufactures) lift that is about 4" tall. I have a Detroit locker in the rear and I get a lot of jacking in the rear under acceleration. Would some better shocks fix this or is it something else. Lots of people tell me to get a long arm upgrade to fix it, but I just don't have the money for that right now. What do you guys think.

What do you mean by "jacking" in the rear?

If you go with different shocks buy the Rancho 9000 adjustables. I picked mine up for just over $60 on my4by.com after a Rancho rebate. I love being able to adjust them to my driving.
