148k, 4.0 5 speed. I don't plan to go crazy with it. First update will probably headlites if the stockers suck as bad as everyone says. While this is my first Jeep it is not my first car so I checked it thoroughly before buying. I did see some real trash out there while shopping, and they wanted $$ for that trash.
Congratulations, Jim! Nice looking Jeep.
Exciting day! Probably was hard to sleep last night.
You'll enjoy the full doors-- when they're on.
Keep us posted when you do your mods.
I see you're in Colorado. If you haven't already, inspect the frame VERY closely with a screwdriver or ice pick, a hammer, and flashlight/headlamp. Check between the lower control arm mounts, front and rear. Pay particular attention to the center around the tranny skid mounts. Poke, prod, tap, and look for: rust, cracks, holes, patches, "patches", flaking, thin or weak spots, et c. Jeep frames are notorious for rusting out, and some shady folx will try to cover, mask or "repair" bad spots. Or maybe they repaired it right but I'd still want to know where the frame stands.
Awesome!!! Welcome to the jeep life. Remember, #jeeplivesmatter
