New TJ owner

Just picked up my TJ Friday evening 1997 with I4 manual, no mods (yet). I am just wondering what people are getting in this mpg wise? I am going from a 5.2l V8 in my Durango to this, will I see much difference?

Welcome to the sickness! 14 seems to be about the norm for a 6 cylinder TJ in stock form.

Sorry, I missed that part. One of my previous TJs had the 2.5 & 5-speed. It got 19, sometimes 20 mpg with 30 x 9.5" street tires. That doesn't seem to be the norm, though. Apparently mine was a freak. lol.
