Question NEW TJ Owner

Bought one Yesterday. Spent 99% of it's life as a toad, SC to CA 12 times.
1997, 4.0L Sport.
What are the weak points on this unit?
Valve tap BIG TIME, are these hydraulic or solid lifters in these units?
Best source for parts and goodies?
THank you for reading this

yeah the 4.0's make alot of noise. But they run forever.

* yours has hydraulic lifters. Or it could be an exhaust leak. They are just noisy. I ignore mine.

My 97 is noisy, but not that bad. Check the exhaust manifold, they have a habit of cracking in the early TJ's.
No more jeep for now
But I have free kandy and kittens in the back of my van
