New to Jeeps - need some build thoughts

Newbie to Jeeps here... sold my Suzuki Samurai and picked up a 2005 Rubicon Unlimited Sahara.

I would like to go with a 35" tire and as little lift as possible. I am not a fan of body lifts, not sure why but just not.
Original thought was to go with the Rubicon Express 5.5" Long Arm kit. Now I am wondering if it is possible to clear 35" tires with a Currie 4" lift and Metalcloak fenders. I need to keep good road manners as I will need to have the wife follow the toyhauler as it will not fit inside like my Samurai did.
Any ideas if I can go the Currie route ?
Anyone have pics of this setup ?

My Samurai was setup pretty good for off roading but the street manners were not the best.
Here is what i am coming from :

Here is the Jeep I now have :

I running 35's with a 2.5" OME lift and a highline kit. If you do the right fenders you don't need much lift at all.

I'm new to jeeps too but I'm steady researching, thinking, asking a few like minded folks, and rethinking how it all fits. I intend to run 33" tires with 2" or less suspension height increase.

sahara Rubicon?...didn't know there was one...The Sahara branding together with Rubicon on same vehicle...learn something every day here
35s will definitely fit with you planned lift...agree with you about body lift good to avoid if not on tight budget.
I have RE 4.5 lift on 35s and love it (not long arm wanted to do myself and not have to weld or anything too construction like.
WITH WHAT YOU SAVE...UPRATE TO BLACK MAJIC BRAKES AND CENTRIC ROTORS...HUGE IMPROVEMENT AND SAFETY.
Good luck and welcome

I'm running a skyjacker 4" lift with 35" tires with Metalcloak Arched fender ( had the lift before fenders) and they are awesome, plenty of room for articulation. I actually have more clearance room for articulation then a friend with a 6" lift with 33's. well worth the price. Plus Customer service is great!!

It was released to go along with the movie. Just like the Tomb Raider edition

I do NOT think mine is the movie edition. No dash plate with a number and the movie ones have a different side fender sticker.

It would appear to be just a Sahara package was added as an option, based on the window sticker.

Yes, on the first pic you can kinda see it by the left headlight. It's actually on the front fender.

What lift are you running ?
BS on the rims ?
Do you have a build thread ?

I am looking at some different 4" lifts but it seems all include parts that others don't so not sure what kits are "complete" and which ones are going to require buying more than just the 4" lift kit.

I don't have a build thread. I'm just running a skyjacker 4" lift. I'm gonna upgrade to a long-arm lift. I like the height, so I'm gonna go with a Rock Krawler or Rubicon Express haven't decided yet, I'm also looking into MetalCloak lifts but theirs are either a 3.5 or 5.5" lift. My wheels are just covered in mud in the pic. With the MetalCloak fenders I don't need a big lift.
