Thumbs up New to the Jeep, old to the outdoors

Got myself a stock 1999 TJ, w/ about 54000 miles on it. All I need it for now is for getting to trailheads here in Arizona, and as a typical college student, don't have much to spend. Do to my limited off-road use, what are some basics? Looking at a BB lift, around 2" or so... Any advice o' wise ones?

So many options... so little time...

a bb is a great way to give yourself just a little lift without breaking the bank. but i'd suggest that you go ahead and wheel it exactly how it is until you can really decide what you need. a stocker will do wonders...and can often surprise you. welcome to the forum! good to have another from AZ on the board!!

Welcome! I am pretty new here myself. Everybody seems really friendly and they all have a lot of great information to share.

I agree with khenderson. Wheel it for a while and decide what suits you best. Too many people spend a lot to do what they don't need to be done. Welcome to the forum. From the other AR (Arkansas)
