I am getting some black steelies. I had some on my old jeep, 15x10 cragars. The spacing on the wheel stuck them out so mud went every where when i was offroading. I have stock fender flares on my new jeep and will be riding 32's. What is the best back spacing that will not stick the tire out TOO far.
4" still sticks out pretty far with 32's...but i don't think you can go much higher on the backspacing. i know 4jeepn ran 4.5" but i don't know if you can find that.
higher bs will pull the tires in towards the wheel wells, however with 4.5" BS you will be rubbing on your control arms when you turn, you need to saty with 4 or 3.75 and either live with it, or get wider fender flares
Well, i dont have stock wheels to begin with. Ive got eagle alloy five spoke. If they didnt quit making that rim i would just get the fifth wheel. but i cant find one.
heres a question... 2 inch lift, 3.75 back space, 31x10.50... If the tires begin to tuck, do they stick out too far to clear the fender? if i do 4" backspace are they far enough out not to rub something else? The reason I want 2" and just 31" tires is to get as much flex as possible without rubbing.
I used to have 2in and 31. i also had 15x10 steelies with 4" backspace. I tucked them pretty good.
