Newb needs help!!!!!!!

PCM PROBLEMS! ...had it replaced once after the jeep died while running, got it back from dealership, four days later pcm "driver" (they're words) is burnt out, they replaced it again, and before they could drive out of the garage they said it died a third time... they're now telling me that the only way to fix it is to buy another one, unplug all the leads to it, and start re-attaching them one at a time to see which one kills the new pcm... then buy another, fix the problem with whatever lead it is, then put it all back togather, and I'm responsible for all the costs (labor and two pcm's) because chrysler wont honor the 8 yr 80K mile warranty because the pcm is good, just getting burnt up so it must be my fault so they say... ANY THOUGHTS? all help is GREATLY appreciated, i bought my jeep because i'd always heard they were tanks and went forever with little or no problems... now i'm just ARRRRGGGG!#@$#

did you buy this jeep used? i don't know if chrysler's warranty is this way, but some vehicle warranties cannot be transferred from one owner to another. if that is the case then unfortunately you are between a rock and a hard place.

They are blowing "smoke". Bad play on words I know.
Unless you installed something aftermarket causing the back feed or spike in the pcm then it is thier responsibility. I would report it and find another dealer.

definitely look about for another dealer, or find out the Jeep warranty rep's name. Its not your responsibility to pay unless it is proven that a modification done to the jeep caused said failure.

Getting the base JAG involved might actually do you some good. They will after the meeting call you by last name make weekly check ups on you and your truck. Bring you coffee and donuts in the morning lol. JAGS are MEAN SOBS DONT PISS EM OFF.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.
