Can you expand on what you mean "screech"?
I try (sometimes I get lazy) and check u-joints before any trail-ride or 3000 miles. Also greese the zerts at this time. With the jeep safe to crawl under in neutral and no parking brake, grab the drive-shaft and twist, than push up-n-down and side-to-side, any play at the u-joint is not good ( if there is a drive shaft shop in your town stop by and have them show you). Oh, sorry greese after you check for play.

I think the screeching is just your tires being turned all the way and trying to grip the road for the sharp turn. Don't think it's to much to worry about. I get it on sharp turns too.

Do you know what mods have been done to your TJ? That might help some of the guys help you with the noise. Especially since you're getting it at a full stop. Or it might be normal with the type of tires you have.
I'm new to the TJ family so still learning the quriks of these.

just a thought

cheers

The only mods suspension wise to my Jeep is a 2 in. coil spacer lift. That's all, and this screeching only started recently. I have 31s bfg all terrains

Yea most cars have screeching when sharp faster turns are made. On breaks at work, I sit by where a lot of cars turn fast and a lot of cars make the screeching noise not just wranglers. Just the tires

That's toe out on turns, get an alignment done and tell them about the problem.
