Newb Question on Softtop Choices

Howdy! I had a quick question that may sound dumb, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

I am in the market for a new black soft top with the upper door halves and am running on a sort of tight budget right now. It seems that multiple companies make what I require, however this is where it gets complicated. Being new to the market I do not know brand names, brand reputation, or their economic standpoint. I would like to pick the company that has a durable product that is worth the money I am spending, and not pay for the advertisement and the brand name. So far I have found Bestop, Rugged Ridge, and Pavement, but if anyone has any suggestions on others I am very open to the idea!

Thanks for your time!

Economic standpoint?

All three are quality tops so pick which ever you can afford.

I would say the order you have them in is the order of quality- bestop being the best and pavement ends being the worst.

Just purchased a Bestop Sailcloth top a few weeks ago. Hands down, the best investment I have made for my Jeep so far.

I agree with Ol' Red. How tight is your budget? How bad do you need a new top? If you can hold off a bit, I'd say save your money and get a Viking Top.

get a factory top, often you can find them on craigs list for less than 300 bucks with the hardware
bestop actually makes the factory tops but i guess do to patent laws and such they cannot sell an identical one, the factory one is way better than what bestop sells on their own IMHO.
