newbie

Just bought a used 99 TJ with 29000 actual miles, looks like it was off the show room. Looking to put 33s on it, how much lift do I need. Not looking to do any (hardcore) offroading with it. Dont know what gear ratio I have it is a sport model. Any help would be appreciated.

You could put a 3 inch lift on it for 33's and light offroading. A 4 inch would be good for more offroading capabilities.

I put a 2 inch on BB on my 2006 with 33x12.5s. Perfect for light offroading. No clearance issues so far.
