Next project begins soon.

An '87 Grand National GNX turbo motor being installed to a '97 SE. I just got a new camera for posting the pics. The '97 is a barn find with no rust and really cheap, the motor is from COPARTS and that was a deal that I couldn't let pass.

who cuts up an '87 GNX to put the motor in a TJ? thats got to be sacrilegious. can't wait to see the progress.

i'd love to have a '87 GNX!!! that car was way ahead of its time.

COPARTS had a GNX for sale that was rolled down a cliff enough times the only part I wanted was the motor. The deal was I paid the whole price and they pulled the motor for me in exchange for the rest. The interior was ok. The auction said the driver was running from the police at high speed.

I was going to put a VW diesel in the TJ but that was more money than the GNX and the GNX is a more interesting show when finished.

Btw, at Carlisle today somebody had a YJ with a 2006 LS7 under the hood.
