No more RE time for JJ's

Purchasing 4 Currie JJ CA's instead of replacing the rubber bushings on my RE's all the time. Anybody else done this? I'm not too sure as to how to replace them though, I've heard put the frame on jack stands, take tires off, then put a floor jack under the axel for support then replace them. Seems easy enough. Then I read that you actually just need to take one CA off at a time, replace it then continue. Any inputs? Thanks.

Your doing the lowers? Honestly you don't have to jack the jeep up or even take the tires off if you don't want too. It will give you more room tho- jack the axle up pull tires and you can take off both lower arms at once and put the new ones in. The axle will not rock forward or back if your upper control arms are tight like they should be.

I didn't do currie arms. I had a set made and used Currie JJs.

These are HereticFab 4340 2" .250 wall with bungs for Curries 1.25" JJs. Right hand Left hand threads for easy adjustment on the jeep.

Good choice . . . I did the same thing and replaced all 8 CAs with Curries after getting sick and tired of replacing bushings all the time. I found it easiest to simply remove and replace the arms one at a time . . . no jacking, removing tires, etc. For the uppers, I needed to use a rachet strap to get them into the right spot as the bushings were split completely in half, but the lowers all I needed to do was rotate the tire a tiny bit and was able to just grab the knobs on the tire and move it enough to get them to fit. I've had mine for over a year now . . . one of if not the best mod I've done to my Jeep. Bushings suck donkey balls!

Anyone know what they're generally suppose to be torqued at. I've read 85 at the axel, 120lb at the frame.

The instructions from Currie say 90 pounds for the lowers.
