I run 33s on a Rubicon Express budget lift and have always had a bit of a shake around 45-50 but nothing violent. In reading about the dreaded DW I was silly enough to think that perhaps this mild shake was DW and that the problem was being exaggerated a bit by some folks.
So today I was changing out the front track bar bushing and had completely removed the bar. I realized I was short an item that I should have picked up at the parts store. The store is only about three blocks away but the temperature is in the high 90's with 75-80% humidity so I decided to drive the tj even though the track bar was removed. NOW I know what death wobble is, good grief I was driving in all four lanes at the same time. I was only going 30-35 when it happened and can't imagine what it would be like at highway speed. Please forgive me for doubting!
