Nsg370

I have taken on a rebuild on my 06 Wragler w/ the NSG 370 6speed tranny. I found a rebuild kit w/ bearings only and diagrams on line. HOWEVER, The only bearing that is actually toast is the reverse idler gear bearing. When attempting to order this from Chrysler and online, I recieved the support only. There is no pic in the diagrams and I am getting frustrated. Does ANYBODY have a clue where to get the bearing itself????? I refuse to re-assemble w/ a worn part. PLEASE HELP ME PEOPLE.

I have a store close by that's called "bearing supply" and i have taken odd ball stuff to them and they have always found what i needed.
I've even just gave them the sizes of what i needed and always came through.

may want to check around your area, sure couldn't hurt

I work at a Jeep dealer and I dont see a "reverse idler gear bearing". That being said there are a lot of "bearings". I love the Chrysler parts catalog. Can you post a pic?

Idler Bearing

I will do my best. I downloaded a complete illustrated, step-by-step manual if you will off of scribd and it is very specific. I purchased a bearing only kit that took weeks to find and no where, including Chrysler is showing this bearing. It is in the rear case and supports the rear Idler Gear on the shaft. I have multiple chrysler catalog diagrams and none show it. They don't even mention it other than the support or gear or shaft. Crazy. I suck at getting pics on my computer but will spend the day trying. This is holding up my whole rebuild! Thanks for the interest. Chrysler shop here are, let's say less than knowledgable.
