O2 sensors for a 2002 I6 non-Cal pliz !!!

Hi chaps,

would somebody have the mopar ref for oxygen sensors on my 2002 TJ I6 which has only 2 oxygen sensors ??
The dealer can't find the correct one (2 mistakes so far...) and I only found references for the one equipped with 4 sensors.

Thanks.

Don't know what part #s they gave you but here is a link. Hope it helps, they also show 4 sensors for '02 & there are some questions in that post about 2 sensor systems but not sure they were answered. Maybe you need only the bank1 sensors.(?)

Thanks, but my car has two (2) sensors, not four (4), hence the problem.
It's an export model without the mini cat, and plugs in the manifolds instead of sensors.
The Jeep documentation is not what you call explicit on that, and I can't find the ref. in any post so far ...

So are the 2 sensors the same? Like 2 after cat sensors? I found this reference in the ’02 parts manual, don’t know if it helps. You can see the manual from the link below. Page 103 (of 341), item #12.

Hi,

yes the sensors are differents. different connectors and design (less holes in the upstream one).
I have checked the parts manual but it doesn't really help....
I'm going to try to look at it on the car, if I can still see anything on it.

Thanks
