Off Roading in PA

I'm from jefferson hills, pa which is just outside of pittsburgh.

I don't get into to much crazy off roading very much because my jeeps my daily driver and I don't have much cash to be messing around.

But anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knew of the legality of off-roading.

The place I usually go to I've never seen any private signs or no trespassing signs.

can they issue me a ticket or citation for anything?

if you are not sure if the spot that you are wheeling in is legal, you should not be wheeling there. just because there no signs posted, doesn't mean that you are allowed to be there. there are no signs posted at the local grocery store that say "no eating," but i am pretty sure that i am not supposed eat the groceries in the store.

with that said, there are legal places to wheel in pa. i don't know where you're from, but on the northeast coast of pa, there is a place called rausch creek. it is in tremont, pa. as vaultzz mentioned, some of us try to go up there once a month and we have a trip planned for the end of this month.

I'm near the Pittsburgh airport alot. there's a power line trail I think a stocker can handle. I've found another trail near the airportbut haven't checked it out yet.

um, Buttermilk Falls you can wheel too. I was there recently, and some stuff was easy. I don't know that area well enough though to be a guide. I might lead you down something not friendly
