So we went to go play Airsoft today at the local field and before the game began I thought it would be a great idea to test out the Jeep with the new lift and wheel/tire combo. Thing was awesome....until I hit a tree. First trail damage photos. It seemed very capable. The "hill" is a bit steeper than it looks. I was amazed I didn't bottom my skid plate. Pissed about the trail damage, but i'll get over it. After I came down the backside of that hill I turned left to get out to the parking lot area and there was a white Birch tree I didn't see about 8" around. Hit my new (not even wired yet) KC light, and the windshield frame. I thought I cracked the hard top at first. Hope the windshield doesn't leak. I put a bead of silicone inbetween the windshield frame and the rubber windshield cover so I think it will be ok.

I took it to SVE Performance in Milford. A friend of mine works there and Bill (the owner) definitely knows his stuff. He had it Wednesday morning and I picked it up Thursday after work.

I like it - adds character. I think I'm gonna go drive mine into a tree. :D

How do you like the MTZs? I'm considering those when I step up to 33s.

Also - I love the pic where you on the edge of the hill looking out the window - AWESOME!
Love the MTZs. I was running 32 psi in all the tires. Never aired down and never had an issuse. When I first tried going up that hill my rear passanger tire was slipping and I realized I had never disconnected the front sway bar. Once I did that there wasn't anymore slipping.

Great Pics, now that you got the damage out of the way the real fun begins!! What size and make lift did you put on it? Looks really good with those tires. At least you didn't pop your windshield, I seem to go through one a year!!
The lift is a 3" BDS Suspensions lift with the SYE and Tom Wood driveshaft. Drives really nice compared to stock.

I do not have any idea how I didn't crack the windshield, but I am very happy about that! As long as the pillar doesn't leak I can deal with it. On the way home I actually was happy about it. I figured the other Wranglers I wave to can see I actually am using it the right way :punk: .

I did notice when I got home that when I tured to the left and then brought the wheel back to straight there was a clunking noise in front. Turned out to be the track bar mount on the axle. The bolt was loose. Tightened it up and I should be good.
