For the amount it costs I'm sure he could do it in green. I didn't realize it was all ready posted though. It's such a piece of history though and with the quality of the parts it would probably run forever.

For 80,000 I figure I could have 8-10 awesome rigs in all different colors/years/models....

id rather learn how to rebuild a cj and do it myself then buy one. it did look really good.

I wouldnt consider it a piece of history since it isnt an original body...The ICON site says that they are a "recreation of the flat fender Willys." I would think that an original would hold more value than a remake...but neither being near 80,000 dollars

Icon's FJ's they build look cool, but none of them are worth $80k-$100K. Everyone is right, you could build one bad rig yourself for that kind of coin.

It started life as a Gi Joe Jeep from the sixties, but most of what you see is scratch built.

If all you are wanting is a replica, why not go with the Mitsubishi J53 which is a replica of the CJ3B. You can pick them up for under 10K .
