oh yeah! got the jeep on an lcac(hovercraft)

i can post many details here but i did get a cool opportunity to pull my tj onto an lcac which is simply put a hovercraft. funny thing about it was all the government vehicles could not make it up the ramps! all the excursions , tahoes etc. they had to build special ramps so they could get up. not the tj! was very slick from melting snow so put it in 4high and bam right up the back ramp! what do you guys think of the pic?

AWESOME!!!! Very nice pic bro. You will be hard pressed to find another pic of a Jeep on a hovercraft. I am jealous.

Very cool. But I think they need to send their drivers to school! I love my YJ, but I have put my Tahoe through some pretty incredible spots without any difficulties.

i agree with whitey yj bout the tahoe. and them ramps dont even look steep, looks like with a little speed in 2wd you could get up pretty easy

its not about its ability to get through some stuff its just the angle of the ramps more than anything. you can not try to pick up speed and hit these ramps. its hard to explain. its like there are to different angles to them cuz they are two parts. they also dont lie flat on the ground there is a big gap at the bottom that we had to throw boards into so they could get their wheels onto the ramps. they do alot better than the excursions anyway, those things are terrible. if it makes you guys feel better the angles are actually pretty steep. alot steeper than they look trust me
