Oil Change

I just purchased an '03 jeep wrangler with 61,000 miles on it. I was wondering what is the best oil brand and filter I should use to get the max life out of my jeep. I want to run this thing until it hits 300,000.

I like mopar the best but will also use wix or napa. ( I have heard wix makes all of them!) for oil 6 quarts of any of the top brands in the correct viscosity. I like castrol, Amsoil, or royal purple. I change mine every 4 months or 3000 miles

As far as synthetic and regular goes, people will swear by one or the other. I have not seen a difference to say for myself, just be sure to pick one and stick with it.

A good used oil analysis came back from a 4.0L for 5k mile OCI and it came back great.

stuff seems to be exactly what your geared towards and is a super deal. 15 bucks for 5qt jug at walmart. its 50% group III synthetic and is a HM oil.
