Anyone who's complained about changing oil in a TJ is a puss-cake! Those are some of the easiest oil changes I have ever done.....They want hard, go tell um to look at an '00 Expedition with the 5.4.....they'll be swearing up a storm

^^^^^ 4.5 was how much I put in! This was my first oil change on my jeep since I got it a few months back! It had a fresh one when I got it!

Want a pain in the .... do do oil changes on, I have a Mazda 6 and a CX7 and they have an undercarriage cover to take down and the oil filter is the Carthage type. Makes a mess every time. My Tj has had over 29 oil changes so far and I could do them every day it is so easy.

people find oil chainging in a jeep hard? I've always found it kind of fun. My Magnum has an undercarriage cover as well, and the whole vehicle sits so low to the ground, even on ramps you don't have much room.

For the most part, everything I've done to my jeep (which isn't THAT much, admittedly), has been a lot easier than I was expecting.

Uhhhh, easiest thing I've ever done. No jacks involved, no other tools other than the socket for the drain plug. Even getting the oil filter off was easy, just stood up and unscrewed it with my hands from the top, be sure your jug is in place at this point. Bubt when I took the drain plug off the oil SHOT out a lot further than I originally expected. EASY tho!!

A computer beat me at chess once, but it was no match for my kickboxing skills.
