Oil leak between engine and transmission

I have a 2.5L in a 97 Wrangler with 177,500 miles on it. The engine in it is used and i do not know the actual miles on it. It was in the jeep when i bought it. there was a leak in the valve cover gasket and i got that fixed. the 2nd leak appears to be between the engine and tranny.

I am thinking it is the rear seal.

IF I AM RIGHT can that be replaced without tearing the engine apart? Obviously i will have to remove the tranny....i am sure replacing the clutch would be a good idea so i am not worried about that.

Any. guidance is welcome

Yes, i believe with the 4 cylinder you have to drop the transmission. From there you drop the oil pan and a couple other things to get to the RMS.

yeah, just have to pull the tranny and oil pan to get to it. Its one of those $3.00 parts that takes 3 hours to replace.
