oil pan 93 jeep yj

I recently bought a yj and the oil pan bolts been stripped out instead of tapin it to put a different bolt i bought a new pan from what ive been told i have to jack up the motor to get that pan out but it has a 3in body lift so my ? Is do i need to jack the motor up to change the pan
