connect the front of your engine skid using the design somewhat shown above. It's essentially a A frame brace that anchors underneath where the motor mounts are braced to the frame. There are already holes in the frame brackets to mount but the mounting brackets to skid do require a slight curve to brace properly to frame.
I have bent the engine skid pictured above 3/4 or more of an inch a few times over the last 8 years and my oil pan is spotless.
Connect it to your T-case skid. Welding a skid to a pan you want to protect is pointless.
