Oil pressure

1997 sport inline 6 cylinder

What should the normal oil pressure be at idle and at around 2000 rpms?

Thanks in advance!

I know mine usually sits right around 40 when the oil is totally warmed up and may be higher when still warming up. May also drop to about 12-15 at idle when oil is totally warm.

About 40-45 cruising and about 25 at hot idle is what mine runs with 164000 miles, the FSM says above 13 at hot idle and less than 75 above 1600 is normal.

seems to be about what mine is doing. I just had the oil changed for the first time since I bought it. Before the change the pressure seemed to be higher then after the oil change.
