OK Jeep People....Here is a question for you..

My Jeep is a 2000 4 Cyl, 5 speed with 98,000 miles. My son's Jeep is a 2001 4 cyl automatic with 82,000 miles. Within a 7 hour span, both "check" engine lights came on......with the same code......PO138. I believe it is for the O2 sensor after the converter. Kinda weird same code at the same time. Any thoughts?

Sounds like you both threw a code. Looks like it is P0138.

My 06 has been throwing that code off and on for the last 2 years. It stays on for 3 or 4 starts and then goes out for a while. It has only done it in cold weather and has never prevented it from passing emissions. The stealership (it's under warranty) won't fix it if they don't see it and it never stays on long enough to get to the shop.
