Ok, Small Budget lift, what am I missing?

OME Shocks
OME 2.5" Coil Springs
t-case spacer
Rear Bump stop spacers
JKS Swaybar Discos
JKS 1.25" BL
JKS 1" MML

Do I need a rear track bar extension bracket or adjustable track bars? Do I need a steering dampener?

Figure for 3-4 years will be daily driver with occaisional trail rides (nothing extreme) and some dune-running.

2006 TJ "X"
plan on 33x1250's on 15.8's w/3.75 BS

If your looking to get 2.5" of lift you wont need all of that.

Shocks
Springs
Sway-bar disconnects

Thats about it really... maybe think about an adjustible trac bra for the front and relocation bracket for the rear. A steering stabilizer is nothing good. Replace it if you must, but its really a hinderance. With only 2" of lift you wont need a transfercase drop, only 3.5" or taller. If you do plan on doing the body lift, I would get the motor mount lift. BUt other than that extra stuff, what I listed above is all what you really need.

Is your take on the body lift then: do the coil, spring, and discos first. Then if necessary go with the BL & MML?

i'd do the BL if you plan on 33's. and the MML sure wouldn't hurt to prevent vibes.

sounds like a good plan. you shouldn't need an adjustable trackbar at that amount of suspension lift.

Factory sway bar will still bolt back up. I would save your money on the disco's until you step up (and you will) to a 4" lift.

Don't do the transfercase drop, just add 2-4 washers instead. Because if you drop the transfercase AND do the body lift, then you are going to run into problems with your shifter location.

Anything over a 1.5" lift on a TJ it is recommended to do a drop pitman arm. I did a 2.5" suspension lift and didn't do the drop pitman arm, I got death wobble. Put in the pitman arm, and all was well. For 50 bucks you can't lose. www.rustysoffroad.com.

I would do bump stop extensions front and rear, they are pretty cheap and will save your fenders.

Also, spend 10 bucks and get a spring retainer clip for the coil spring on the passenger side.

You don't HAVE to do the MML if you don't want to. Just keep in mind that you will need to alter or remove your fan shroud when you do the body lift. It's pretty easy to cut it to fit. New holes can be drilled in it pretty easily.

Also, I don't know what the laws are in Utah, but in PA we have to keep the tires under the fender flares. If you go with those tires and back spacing, your tires are going to stick out a good bit. You may have to invest in some extended fender flares. Depending on your laws, or if you care.
