Old Viking, new Rampage Fastback tops

I've read some older posts on these Fastback tops, there seemed to be alot of issues with the "no drill header", I'm wondering if anyone has bought one recently? Also is the sailcloth version any better than the denim? Thanks for any replys and pics.

Funny you should ask, just put one on the other day. Now that I got the channel right it's pretty nice being able to fold everything up and go. I really like the look, didn't know they made in a heavier material or I would've got it.

Well, yours looks very good! and it stays tight in the back at highway speeds, with or without the windows in it? Also I'm looking for rock sliders, Yours look pretty good, what brand/model are they, how much? I have been considering Shrockworks, Cassidy's, and Taboo's.

if anyone is in the same boat as me (considering one of these tops, but don't "need" one right now) I suggest you wait on pulling the trigger until after SEMA...its in the beginning of November. I had a little bee tell me something interesting might be there.

I agree with mrcarcrazy, just hold off if you can wait til Oct. My header was just me not getting the front seated right, I thought I had it, but then would slowly shift back. You gotta really hold it down in front as you tighten those clamps. FYI, I'm experimenting with some batting under the top for noise, seems to help. I'll update anyone if interested. TJ, got them from Northridge4X4, RockHard, less than 300 cause I painted them myself.
