olympic 4x4 rocker guards

Looking at getting these from some one local on cl

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/pts/3082339271.html

Has anyone used these or heard any reviews on them, good, bad, or other, would really like to have some dual purpose steps/rocker sliders but haven't gotten around to them yet and these seem like a pretty good deal

Those are frame mounted which is not nearly as strong and protective as rocker guards that mount directly on the tub are. Since from your avitar it looks like you really use your Jeep offroad, I'd hold out for tub mounted rocker guards. At least in my personal opinion.

Well I hate to admit this but.... that was kinda a poser shot it was just a big rock that I saw one day trail riding right after I put my lift and tires on and wanted to c if it would make it up it, I just pulled up on it and backed back down as there was a wall of trees behind it, but I do do a lot of trail riding with the occasional serious trail as there isn't very many places around were I live, I'm basically looking for a step that will handle some light to moderate abuse because the wife complains about it not having a step and she has a hard time getting in on occasion

There are many tub-mounted rocker guards that have a step rail on them, my previous TJ had them.

Sorry the below are the best pictures I have of typical tub mounted rocker guard that has a built-in step. They worked very well for me.

I have those on my unlimited and have never had a problem. I don't do some of the more intense rock crawling that a lot of the folks here do. I've even lifted my jeep with them.
