OME Ultimate and other accessories

Hey everyone,

I have a red 2005 tj sport that is 100% stock. Upcomming spring break i will have around $3000 to spend on my jeep. I really like the reviews on the OME Ultimate and seems like a solid kit. I will drive 90% on road and 10% trails.

Anything I should consider with this lift or other suspension and body components?

I like the look of mickey thompson classic wheels but what size sould i run with a 33x12.515 tire? Black or Silver?

And what tires would you suggest? BFG AT or Duratracs or MTR or Mud Terrains? I want something that will last nut be good off road too.

Spare tire mounting suggestions?

15x8 wheel with 3.75" backspacing..

Black of silver is your call... All depends on tastes and preferences.

Depending on your region I'd go with mud terrains. All terrains suck down here in the thick southeast mud but did great out in SoCal...

All terrains do pretty well for me personally. Granted I'm not going through mud up to the doors but it does get pretty deep. Drive it well it'll do fine. I have Cooper AT3 (if I had a choice at the time i would've went with the Cooper STT) The STT is an all terrain/mud terrain hybrid. It looks kick ass. I hear bad things about the ST (not STT) only because it has a harder loading that works for heavy trucks, not for Jeeps. I stayed away from the duratracs only because of the sidewall. It sucks! The guy from goodyear even told me not to buy them if I'm wheeling through rocks and stuff. Going through the woods we hit all types of terrain. The coopers have never popped once. We owned a set that somehow got a huge gash on the side wall. Never leaked or popped since though. As for the kit I'm sold on DPG's ultimate kit as well. Haven't bought it yet but I will when the time comes. It looks like a really solid kit. Lots of reviews and pics if you search the forums. If you're running 33's I think you want to regear and possibly buy a new axle but that's all personal preference i guess. Sounds great please post pics.
