OME Ultimate Kit

How much of the things in the ultimate kit do I actually need? I'm a mild off roader more looking for a nice ride as its my dd and I might eventually get into wheeling more. Would I be better off with the deluxe kit? Thanks

I have the ome standard 2 inch lift from quadratec and its my dd and I 4 wheel about once a month or so and it works great. The price of that lift with the jks discos is an awesome price. This is almost fully articulated with 31's

The best thing about the ultimate kit is that you can have the best of both worlds awesome on and Offroad performance go ahead and do it now put some 33's on and have at it don't wait you will just want to eventually get the parts anyway you can't go wrong with this kit

Allow your self at least 30-45 minutes. He will not let you call to just place an order then hang up. He has , i think, 8 different spring rates to customize your ride. The man knows his stuff and wont BS you either.

I just got my first set of boxes yesterday after talking with him last week, waiting for the others to show up so i can get this bad boy installed! Good luck.

I got to say that is a really good mix of high quality parts. Though I would have liked to see at least new lower control arms with something called the "Ultimate Wrangler Kit". Another good thing is that you really don't need to buy anything else for the suspension for a long while, other than control arms to fix your pinion angles and castor. Also I find it strange that it doesn't tell you the size of the lift, or at least the size of the coil springs, or does "your choice of coil rates" also include picking the lift height?

Get some armor, beefy steering and tires and you would be good to go for years.

When you order the kit everything comes with its own set of instructions from the manufacturer. Such as the track bars and quick disconnects and body lift all come with their own. Dirk will also throw in a "tips and tricks" sheet.

Basically everything is drop shipped from the manufacturer once you place the order at DPG. Dirk is based outside of Wichita KS, I just got my JKS stuff from their Nebraska warehouse and the OME stuff from ARB will be from their Seattle location then another package from dirk himself with the decals hat, other odds and ends.

Have you called him yet? He can answer every question you have and then some.

It doesn't tell you the size because OME only comes in 2". After that either a 1/2" spacer or 3/4" spacer will be added then your 1.25" BL. So in total it's what, 4" or so. The different spring rates he has is a mix of LJ , ZJ and TJ springs. It all depends on what you are running now and what your plans are.

Dirk knows his OME and how to keep a customer happy even if you don't order anything. I like that about him. Most places don't care what you want or if your order was messed up they just want your money. Dirk is the man when it cones to customer service
