? On part for a tj

Ok new to me is this jeep I ordered a 3" lift from zone and it came in today, so I went out to get some pb blaster on same of the nuts and bolts that I know is going to be removed, I noticed that there is a bar that is up top just under that plastic cover that isinglass front of the grill and the front bumper, it goes to each side of the front suspension and is connected somehow to a bar that runs down. Well that bar whatever it is is broken off of each side of the link on both sides and it looks like a small ball or pivot that is attached to that bar and it lifted straight up. What is this and is this normal?

It is your anti-swaybar and it's the links that are broke. that lift should have new extended antiswaybar links

Ok, thanks. Is it common for both sides to break iff like that? Its not attached whatsoever other than the mounts on top of the bumper... is my sway bar itself still good, if thus happened?

This just means the PO of the jeep didnt unhook the swaybar when he/she went off road or it was just old and wore out ... Its not a big deal , your lift should come with new ends (maybe quick connects if your kit has them ) Just put the new ones on ..The sway bar will be fine unless it is broken somewhere ..(very doubtful it is )

Ok thanks everyone, wasnt for sure if the swaybar itself was bad and thats why both sides was broken off... the previous owner just used the jeep as a daily driver so I
Figure it jyst broke due to age then... 1rbotma im between annarbor and detroit westland to ve exact
