Whatever you do. DO NOT GET CHROME. I hate mine so much. Im so close to taking sand paper to them. So ready for summer to get my lift tires and wheels. Im going with the moto metals that are black with Accents around them. I have a black jeep. I think that would look sick.

Yes i think it makes them look alot better. It does make the chrome stand out. That is why i want black wheels but with a little bit of chrome. But that plastic fades after a while. On my wheels you cant tell it from standing up. But when you get down and look at the them were getting pitted and rust because the previous owner never washed it. But not anymore thats my baby. I wash it once a week. And i rarely go offroad.

I feel the exact same way. And yep tht fading is happening with mine too even though the previous owner replaced them right before I bought it. I did two things that help with the issues they have 1) I put these special rubber/sponge prices where the hood hits the fender area which prevents the rust starting there and 2) they make this turtle wax that brings the color back I used tht on the fading and it helped a bit didn't completely correct it but what do u expect from a 4 dollar product

Yeah. I wash cars as my job. Im 16. And i use this stuff called black back. I think thats the name of it. But you get it at like auto zone. But it brings out the color and lasts for a good little while. You should check it out.

Thanks! Chrome wheels look good. But the upkeep is terrible. I would just prefer black wheels. I think they would look good on it.

Thank you! I like the setup mine came with, but I think my next set of wheels tires will be some sort of black wheel, along with BFG A/T tires. The goodyear wrangler with Kevlar tires on mine are just too aggressive for what I do in my jeep.

I had black on my last jeep, and I'll do black on my current jeep.

In my opinion chrome is NEVER the answer. Plus chrome is much harder to clean if you deal with dirt/mud, and especially salt from the roads in the winter. So i vote black, with some beadlocks

I have had a bunch of different wheels on my Jeep since I have had it. When I first bought it stock, and before I new better, I bought chrome steel wheels, 2"BB, 32" BFG A/T's, and Bushwacker flares. The chrome was really hard to keep clean, winter road use would make them start to rust, and was constant upkeep with steel wool.

I traded the chrome wheels for some black D-window steelies. I later bumped up to 33's.

I picked up a set of Rubicon take-offs with A/T tires to run in the winter when it was still my daily driver.

I was having balancing problems with the steel wheels that I never had with the Rubi wheels. Maybe it was the weight, maybe it was the Toyos, IDK. I sold them all and went with some basic black MB alloy wheels and 35" Xtreme M/T's. Easy to clean after wheeling, no wobbles at all.

Aluminum is definately the way to go, IMO. Black or silver look good on a black Jeep. I love the Rubi wheels, and would of kept them, but I would of needed to run spacers. I did not want to do that.
