Opinions!!

Okay so I just got some brand new 31x10.5 BFG Mud Terrain tires with 15" black rims. Now a person I know said I should paint the hub (or is that a wheel bearing showing?) because its all rusty and my rims don't cover it.. Not sure if I want to. Opinions? I was considering painting the bolts black. Opinions on that?

I'll probably paint the hub and the bolts this weekend.. Thanks for the advice everyone and yep here are a couple photos I took of my jeep. Work in progress still! She still needs a lift and a new front bumper/back bumper.

If your talking about painting the lugs i wouldnt recomend that, the paint will just flake off and have chrome showing through. You can get black lugs at advanced auto though....

Good idea. I'm getting the rims switched out then the tires put on by a tire shop tomorrow so I'll try and hit the hubs with some paint before the tires are put on! The wheels I have on right now aren't off set enough so I keep hitting my control arms on sharp corners. That's why I'm taking these current wheels back and getting rock crawlers tomorrow. I'll post pics on here later tomorrow!

Yeah, I figured they were rubbing just by seeing the pictures. They look nice, but that rubbing has to go.

Just take a can of paint with you to the shop, when they pull the wheels off just walk up and hit it with a couple of coats while they mount the tires. Most shops would be cool with that.

The rock crawlers, do they look like the Soft 8's? I have the Soft 8's, love the look.
I didn't think about painting the bub and put stupid center caps on mine. lol They will be coming off next time I have a reason to remove the wheels.

I'd use black brake caliper paint. They sell it in spray form.
Yeah, thats them. Thankfully the po got rods of mine. He even capped off the ends.

Got the new rims put on, shop wouldn't let me spray the hub before the wheels were put on though. I'm going to tape them off this weekend and paint them! Love the rims though. I don't hit my control arms at all now.
